Misoprostol versus Letrozol with Misoprostol in Management of First Trimesteric Missed Miscarriage

Background and objective: The objective of this work is to match the security effectiveness two treatment modalities (Misoprostol versus Letrozol with Misoprostol) in medical 1st trimesteric missed miscarriages. Methods: This an interventional randomized case-control investigation that was performed at outpatient antenatal care clinic Luxor General Hospital during period from February December 2017. study included a number 200 cases who have been randomly classified 2 equal groups: Group-I "Misoprostol" which 100 received 800-mg misoprostol vaginally once diagnosis group-II "Letrozol + Misoprostol" 10-mg letrozol times day for 3-days as pretreatment then vaginal misoprostol. Results: Misoprostol alone group (group-I) has significantly high duration bleeding after dose time passed till passage POC comparison group-II, (P-value Conclusion: results revealed course letrozole (10-mg per day) trailed by (800-mg) accompanied full abortions rate women first-trimester miscarriage compared (81.0% vs. 54.0%) without increasing side effects.
